LOOK DEVELOPMENT Orphanage, Ethiopia

Look Development of Ethiopia is founded and directed by Yemisirachkeab and Tesfatsion Tsegaye an Ethiopian brother and sister who looked at the desperate need of the children of Ethiopia and allowed God to develop the response. In that love they have taken orphans into their care and are working to develop a community development project and orphanage. Hope Ranch of Montana is partnering with them in this effort.

The sponsorship page contains photo's of the children waiting for sponsorship at Look Development Community Development project in Ethiopia. Will you help a vulnerable child trapped in poverty experience hope, justice and compassion through the love of Jesus in action? We (Matt & Amanda) had the honor of meeting all these precious children and took their pictures. Each one is so precious and eager to be sponsored. We saw first hand how sponsorship changes lives through the twenty eight already sponsored children.

So what does your sponsorship provide?

school fee's

uniform

nutritious food aid for the child and their family or guardians

activities at Look Development such as after school tutoring, Saturday Bible school, play in the court yard, food at project, teaching in hygiene and life skills.

transportation to and from the project

Being at the project gives the children a safe and loving environment that is full of love and learning This loving environment keeps them off the streets where they are very vulnerable.

There are 3 types of children in need of sponsorship

Some of the children have both living parents who are struggling in poverty and unable to provide basic needs for their children. Due to the aid you provide the whole family will benefit with food aid and their child will be given the opportunity for education which brings a future and a hope.
Some of the children live with one parent. The cause of death of the one parent is more than likely HIV. The living parent is more than likely infected and it will sadly be a matter of time until that child will be an orphan. Look Development is in the process of building a community development center and family style orphanage that in the future could possibly care for your sponsor child if there are no other options for your child.
Some of the children waiting have lost both parents. Most are living with a relative. Some are in difficult situations where their relatives have their own children and your sponsorship alieve some of the burden these families have in caring for their orphaned relative. Sponsorship makes life better for the orphaned child as well as their care-takers. Look Development will be building an orphanage which will provide a home for many children who have lost both parents.

Cost:

$35 per month - Hope Ranch wires the monthly sponsorship money the first of every month (Hope Ranch and Look Development are partners in this effort and the board of directors are overseeing all projects)

All children receive the same benefits, but we ask that children who are HIV positive could receive $45 per month for extra medical care, vitamins, and extra nutritious food aid.

This is a personal way for you to share your love, prayers, and support with a child that is waiting for for that special connection of sponsorship. Sponsorship opens doors of relationship, belonging, opportunity and a future for a beautiful and needy child. Sponsorship is the opportunity for a child to realize the love of Jesus in action as well as opportunities for education that allows them to become self-sustained adults and bring future hope and change to their communities.
